An easier way to play this (and how it was originally played) is with a capo on 2, playing the
open D string which has now become an E for the lowest note. In more recent live footage you
can see that he moves this note up an octave, playing the 9th fret on the G instead.

[Verse 1]
Em D
Your knuckles whiten on the wheel
                                    C
The last thing that your hands will feel
                             B7
Your final flight can't be delayed
Em D
No land, just sky, it's so serene
                             C
Your pink fat lips let go a scream
                              B7
You fry and melt, I love the scene

[Chorus]
          G D
Sometimes I fantasise
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
            G D
Don't these times fill your eyes?
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
             D
Are you all alone?
           Em
Is anybody home?

Em D C B7

[Verse 2]
Em D
I'm standing warm against the cold
                               C
Now that the flames have taken hold
                               B7
At least you left your life in style
Em D
And for as far as I can see
                                 C
Ten twisted grills grin back at me
                            B7
Bad money dies, I love the scene

[Chorus]
          G D
Sometimes I fantasise
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
            G D
Don't these times fill your eyes?
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
             D
Are you all alone?
           Em
Is anybody home?

[Solo]

Em D C B7 x3

[Chorus]
          G D
Sometimes I fantasise
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
            G D
Don't these times fill your eyes?
         C
When the streets are cold and lonely
        G
And the cars they burn below me
             D
Are you all alone?
                Em
Are you made of stone?
